Three men aged in their 20s and 30s have been arrested after a burglary in Co Cavan.

Detectives working as part of Operation Thor responded to a burglary alert at a business premises on Main Street, Kingscourt at around 1am.

When they arrived at the scene, they were confronted by three men who were subsequently arrested.

Two of them are being detained at Baileboro Garda station, while a third man who was held at Carrickmacross has been released without charge.

A file is being sent to the DPP.
