Irish Rail has revealed the worst performing routes around the country.

In 2014 the most frequent delays were on the Westport to Heuston Station line with trains on that route delayed by at least 10 minutes 194 times.

The Dart had the next highest percentage of delays with almost 6% of trains delayed.

The Rosslare-Connolly line, Western Railway Corridor and the Galway-Heuston routes had the next highest percentage of delays according to a report in today’s Sunday Times..
