Rural crime, equal access to heathcare for all and eco-tourism for County Wexford are the election priorities of Ann Walsh, a member of the Green Party and a candidate for the Wexford constituency in next month’s General Eection, who launched her campaign at the Golden Anchor, Castletown, Gorey, tonight.

Ms Walsh is a proud Wexford woman, brought up in New Ross, married to a Duncannon man and living in Castletown, near Gorey, for the past 18 years.

I want the best for Wexford and for the country,” sad Ms Walsh, who added: “That is why I believe Wexford needs to have a Green Party candidate.”

The special guest of honour was former Minister and Leader of the Green Party, Trevor Sargent, while Cllr Miriam Murphy, Independent member of Arklow Municipal District Council, acted as master of ceremonies, both of whom called upon the large attendance to support Ms Walsh was helping her on the canvass and to garner as many votes as possible in the 2016 General Election.
