The Banking Inquiry has made a number of minor changes to its final report.

The changes were recommended by the inquiry’s own legal team, after requests from developers Johnny Ronan and Michael O’Flynn that certain parts be removed.

However, one inquiry source said the changes made were not in line with those which had been sought by the developers.

In a statement, the inquiry said its final report was still on track to be issued by January 27.

The two developers now have two weeks in which they can still begin court action in an attempt to force through the changes, a process which could still force it to miss its deadline.
