AN APPLICATION for the building of 30 new houses, as a continuation of a partially completed housing development, has been lodged with Wexford Co. Council’s planning department.

Claybury Ltd., a company owned by Aidan and Francis Quigley, made the application for the 30 three-bedroom houses, which will be completed in three phases of ten along with footpath links, car parking spaces and all other works.

The estate is located at Whitebrook on Whiterock Hill. It was pointed out in an accompanying letter from the developer that all of the houses in the existing development were occupied.

In that letter, the developer also explained that 10% of the site area was being provided for open space and there was also a green strip running along the south western boundary. It was envisaged, they said, that two spaces would be planted with indigenous species around the perimeter leaving the rest of the space usable to the residents.
