Independent TD Peter Mathews has been ordered from the Dáil this afternoon after accusing Ceann Comhairle Sean Barrett of "bullying" him in the chamber.
During the Order of Business, where TDs can ask the Taoiseach about pending legislation, Mr Mathews pressed Mr Kenny about the promise to deliver on burden-sharing with bondholders.
When the Ceann Comhairle interrupted Mr Mathews saying his intervention was not in order, Mr Mathews then accused Mr Barrett of bullying him twice.
"I will not be bullied by you, you are bullying me. I am at my wits end," Mr Mathews said.
Mr Barrett took offence at the comments and said he would not tolerate "such abuse".
He then ordered Mr Mathews from the chamber, who agreed to leave.
Mr Mathews has been a constant thorn in the side of Mr Barrett since leaving Fine Gael.
