A coastal flood warning has been issued for a number of counties in the west and south.
Met Eireann is warning that strong winds, high tides and heavy rains are posing a risk for parts of Galway, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford.
The alert comes into force from 9pm tonight until 9am tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a status Yellow Wind Warning is in place for Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Galway.
The forecaster said that winds will be 50km/h to 65km/h, but there could be gusts of up to 90km/h on exposed coasts.
