A MAN in his 60s has lost his life following a single vehicle road traffic collision at Clone, Ferns.

The incident took place at around 6.20 p.m. on Tuesday evening. The man was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle and he was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. It is believed he may have suffered health complications while driving.

The road remained closed this morning as Garda forensic collision investigators carried out a full examination of the scene. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with them at Enniscorthy Garda Station.
