Labour’s Kevin Humphreys has made sure he had a bird’s eye view of the opposition.
Enda Kenny had barely finished his business with President Michael D Higgins in the Áras when the junior minister and Dublin South East candidate was up a pole outside the gates of Leinster House.
Mr Humphrey’s chose his moment just as the Anti Austerity Alliance – People before Profit coalition were providing a media briefing on their election campaign only a few metres away.
As Mr Humphreys reached up with a cable tie Richard Boyd Barrett of PBP was telling members of the media: “We are going putting up the ladders getting the posters up and then we will be out knocking on the doors tonight, so it’s all hand son decks for the next three weeks.
