A persuasive Galway teenager has managed to get his parents' permission to quit school by using a powerpoint presentation to plead his case.
Conor O'Flaherty from Kinvara had to go through six drafts before his folks gave him the go ahead to leave school.
But the 17-year-old was not doing it just so he could sit around and play his XBox - he wants to focus on his online talent agency, which identifies rising stars through Youtube.
It seems to be paying off too - the Irish Examiner has said the teen entrepreneur has secured a bursary and his business is doing so well that he should make €2m this year.
