
Fianna Fáil in Government would introduce flood-protection insurance for those who are being ignored by the private sector, Micheál Martin said today.
The party is also promising to invest €18m in a specific Irish language and Gaeltacht plan.

Details of the Fianna Fáil plan for rural Ireland were unveiled in Galway this morning.
Deputy Martin also said that rural access to broadband will be a key priority.
“Proper high-speed broadband and accessibility to broadband is probably the singlemost effective thing any Government could do in terms of saving existing jobs in small businesses and companies across rural Ireland and ensuring we can attract new companies establish and create jobs,” he said.
