SIPTU members in disability organisations in the south east of the country are to hold a day of action next Tuesday.

The protest centres around the non-payment of increments and will be held by workers in Ard Aoibhinn Services, County Wexford Community Workshop in Enniscorthy and SOS Services in Kilkenny.

In a statement this evening SIPTU Organiser David Morris said: "The workers have explored every avenue open to them to find a solution to this dispute and feel they have no option but to take action to highlight the situation."
