It looks set to be a very unsettled day with overcast skies and outbreaks of rain, often heavy and prolonged. The rain will ease in the evening. There will be a brisk south-westerly wind. Temperatures a little above the seasonal average. Max temp 8-11C (46-52F).

Leinster tomorrow:

It will be rather unsettled and wet throughout the day with cloudy skies and spells of rain, heavy at first but becoming lighter later. A light to moderate westerly wind. Max temp 7-10C (45-50F).

Monday:

It looks set to be mainly dry and bright, but with the chance of a shower later. There will be a gentle north-westerly breeze. Max temp 7-10C (45-50F).

Tuesday:

It is going to be a chilly day with sunny spells and a few wintry showers. There will be a light and variable wind. Max temp 6-9C (43-48F).

Wednesday:

It is going to be a chilly day with a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy and wintry. Moderate northerly winds. Max temp 5-8C (41-46F)

Thursday:

The chilly weather is expected to continue with the chance of further wintry showers. Moderate north or north-easterly breezes. Max temp 5-8C (41-46F).
