Fianna Fáil has said it will build 15,500 social houses in Dublin over the next five years if returned to power.
The Party has said it will also increase rent supplements by 10%.
It will also introduce special organised crime units in the City.
Speaking at the launch of the Fianna Fáil policy for Dublin, Senator Darragh O’Brien has said homelessness is the number one priority in the Capital.
“Homelessness and housing is the number one priority for us in Dublin.
“This Government have failed and failed miserably as I have said, they have produced less than 400 homes in five years, while 45,000 people are on our social housing list across Dublin city and county.”
