RTE and TV3 are reportedly set to team up and share coverage of the European Championships this summer.

Several newspapers report this morning that the deal will see the national broadcaster air Ireland’s group games. They will also have first choice on games not involving Ireland, screening a total of 44 games.

Competitors TV3 will screen 22 games from the tournament, which takes place in France in June and July. Ireland get their campaign underway against Sweden on June 13.

The deal has yet to be confirmed.
