People with disabilities are protesting outside Government buildings today with a message that they are not prepared to be ignored any longer.
Campaigners say they have been failed by the outgoing coalition and are demanding that the next government appoint a full cabinet minister for disabilities.
One of those protesting, Martin Naughton, said the crisis in our health system meant disability issues were forgotten.
He said: "We're currently under the auspices of health, and of course health is all about trolleys and unfortunately when that's the case it's very hard for us to get a proper hearing."
