Leicester City have proved their merit off the field as well as on by showing great kindness to a bereaved boy.
Nine-year-old Charlie Keyworth’s mother Sandra recently died from cancer and his family were keen to take his mind off his grief.

As it happens, Charlie’s grand uncle played for Leicester in the 1960’s and the boy was keen to visit the stadium and gift shop.
When his uncle contacted the club and explained the situation, they got the club historian involved and pulled out all the stops to look after Charlie.
"All Charlie wanted was to go to the shop and get a mug and a key-ring," his father Mike told the BBC. "He got an awful lot more and it took his mind off other things for a while."

The club historian met them and showed them memorabilia relating to his grand uncle. Charlie was brought on a tour that included the pitch and dressing rooms.
"Basically with no notice Leicester City rolled out the red carpet for a nine-year-old boy who has just lost his mum.
"It is a nice story and Leicester deserve credit. In this day and age where the football club get bashed left, right and centre.”
Rob added: "For what was a pretty horrific week, it was something positive at the end of it and nice to remember.
"Thank you Leicester. Thank you."
