Around a dozen families are being evicted from a building providing emergency accommodation in the capital today.
The men, women and children say they were given a week’s notice by Dublin City Council, and that they have nowhere else to go.
They have been protesting outside the building on Mountjoy street and say they will have to be forcibly removed.
Mark Richardson, who has been living there with his partner and three children for nine months has said it is awful as a parent: “Terrible, it wreaks me head I just can’t fathom it.”
