Cork will have to manage without Alan Cadogan for the next two games in the Allianz Football League.

The forward received a red card for an off-the-ball incident in the sesond-half of their defeat to Waterford last weekend and as a result has been hit with a two-match ban.

The loss to Waterford proved costly for the Rebels, with two players set for surgery next week after injuries picked up in the game.

Defender Colm Spillane has been ruled out for the season due to a cruciate ligament injury while Aidan Walsh will undergo surgery to treat a broken nose.
