A full tally for the Wexford Count shows Brendan Howlin in the lead where the quota is expected to be somewhere in the mid-11,000 range. Tally figures vary between Fine Gael and Fianna Fail (used here) where there is a discrepancy of 600 votes for Paul Kehoe still to be sorted. We understand that a batch of spoilt votes may have been counted in error.

The final tally figures are as follows;

Brendan Howlin 10,414 (14.5%)

James Browne 9,978 (13.9%)

Mick Wallace 7,840 (10.9%)

Michael D’Arcy 7,642 (11%)

Paul Kehoe 7,375 (10,3%)

Johnny Mythen 7,244 (10.1%)

Malcolm Byrne 6,114 (8.8%)

Ger Carthy 3,251 (4.5%)

Aoife Byrne 3,157 (4.4%)

Leonard Kelly 1,558 (2.2%)

Deirdre Wadding 1,440 (2%)

John Dwyer 1,198 (1.8%)

Julie Hogan 1,181 (1.6%)

Ann Walsh 980 (1.4%)

Caroline Foxe 949 (1.3%)

Emmet Moloney 214 (0.6%)
