Erica Traynor runs the Aisling nursery in Tallaght in Dublin, one of the pre-schools taking park in Pyjamas Day.
She has said children, parents and teachers, need support when dealing with autism: “We have had children with additional needs, through the service over the years and it comes down to early child care providers need more training really on additional needs.
“We will be raising funds for this much needed charity and as it is known early detection of autism is vital.
“This is going to be a fantastic day, we are really looking forward to it, the children will be dictating what goes on which will be lots of fun for the teachers and the children.”
