Staff at the Cadbury plant in Coolock are to return to work this evening, after the suspension of strike action at the factory.
Shop stewards with SIPTU and UNITE have been meeting today, and are due to ballot their members on new proposals from the Workplace Relations Commission.
The workers went on strike on Thursday over the company's decision to out-source a number of jobs.
It is understood the WRC plan involves cost-saving measures that do not require out-sourcing.

Workers at Cadbury's in Dublin are to be balloted on a deal that has led to the suspension of strike action at the plant.
The strike by SIPTU and UNITE members was suspended last night, after the Workplace Relations Commission put forward new proposals.
The strike began on Thursday as part of a dispute over the company's decision to out-source around 17 jobs a the factory.
UNITE has said the WRC plan involves cost-saving measures that do not require the out-sourcing of jobs.
