Conor McGregor has reacted to Jose Aldo's scathing tweet posted just minutes after this morning's defeat to Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
The Notorious gave a gracious post-match interview, giving due credit to Diaz, but that didn't stop the digs from some UFC fighters.

Foremost among the Dubliner's detractors was his nemesis Jose Aldo, who posted a scathing tweet within minutes of McGregor's second round submission.
He said on Twitter: "Your fairy tale is over. You got nowhere to run now. Time to a rematch, pussy".

Aldo has been bent on revenge since McGregor captured the UFC Featherweight title last year and brought Aldo's 10-year unbeaten run to an end.
A rematch had been touted from soon after their encounter at UFC 194, a proposition which the Dubliner welcomed at the time.
While McGregor intends to return to the Featherweight division to defend his crown, Aldo's tweet has brought out a different colour in him.
Speaking at the post-fight press conference, McGregor said: "He had an opportunity to show up here, and he didn't. He could be sitting where Nate is sitting right now. He was the first choice. He said ‘any time, any place, anywhere.’ And then, it wasn’t ‘any time, any place, anywhere. Now, another man gets a victory over me, he celebrates it. That’s the sign of a loser. That’s the sign of a runner-up. That’s not the sign of a champion."
