It takes team spirit to win an All-Ireland, and Cork camogie side Milford proved yesterday that they have it in spades.
First on the pitch, where they beat Killimor of Galway to win their third All-Ireland senior club camogie title in four years.

And again afterwards, when they were determined that team-mate Ashling Thompson make the trip up the steps of the Hogan Stand for their presentation.
Thompson had been stretchered off the pitch shortly before the end of the match, appearing to be in agony with an ankle injury, but her fellow players were determined to include her afterwards.
As she said herself afterwards: “Tough times don't last, but tough teams do”.
