It’s far from rice krispie buns the students at the Center For Early Education in LA are used to when they’ve parents such as Beyonce, Will Ferrell and Billy Crystal popping by.

The school, where Blue Ivy (4) attends celebrated it's 75th gala where parents were treated to a casual itimate Beyoncé gig - fine for some.

The Formation singer made a surprise appearance at the school’s event and performed a handful of her hits, including Crazy in Love and Halo before effortlessly tackling the legendary Whitney Houston's hit "I Will Always Love You."

Parents and staff of course took to their social media platforms to document the moment with one even quipping: “A mom performing at her kid’s school fundraiser”.

Do you think she gave a hand with the raffle?
