Chris Hargreaves and his mates seriously underestimated the cunning and guile of a fox they ran into while out golfing.

The golfers were delighted with their new friend at first and started recording him.

But one of them was considerably less delighted when the crafty canine suddenly snatched his wallet from the bag and made a run for it.

Luckily for him, the fright of being chased by an angry golfer was enough to make the fox drop the wallet.

Lesson learned - foxes may be cute, but they don't have that 'sly and cunning' reputation for no reason.
