The PSNI has arrested a man in Derry in connection with dissident republican activity.
The 48-year-old was detained by detectives from the Serious Crime Brach this morning.
A number of searches are ongoing in the Derry area today.
It comes amid heightened security following a bomb blast last week which seriously injured a prison officer.
