Sinn Féin is demanding the Finance Minister appear before the Dáil to explain why he didn't stop the sale of NAMA's Northern Ireland loan book.
Michael Noonan is under pressure to offer an explanation after a Stormont inquiry criticised him for not stepping in - after it emerged the sale process was compromised.
It emerged in March of 2014 that a former NAMA advisor stood to earn a 'fixers fee' if the 'Project Eagle' loan book was sold to an investment firm.
Mary Lou McDonald's repeated her call for a Commission of Investigation - but before that she wants Minister Noonan before the Dáil on March 22nd: “He has to answer why it is when he knew the sales process had been corrupted, why it is he continued on.
“Why did he not call a halt when it was clear that fixers fees were involved, when that was clearly against the rules, why did he allow that sales process to continue?
“He has never answered that question.”
