Update 11.25am:
A man has appeared in court charged with trying to murder a prison officer in east Belfast.
45-year-old Christopher Alphonsos Robinson yawned as he was accused of the bombing last week at Belfast Magistrates' Court.
Heavily armed riot police stood between a crowd of his supporters and the main body of the court room.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear via video link before the same court on Friday April 1.
Update 7.40am:
A man is due to appear in court this morning - charged with the attempted murder of a prison officer in Belfast.
The 52-year-old prison officer suffered serious leg injuries when a bomb exploded under a van he was driving last week.
A 45-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear before Laganside Magistrates Court later today.
