Passengers had a scare this evening when a bus caught fire in Cork city centre.
The Bus Éireann vehicle, part of the 202 service from Mahon, caught fire on Parnell Place – right next to the city’s main bus depot.

According to eyewitness Anthony Murphy, all passengers got off the bus and are “safe and sound”.
