Tax settlements worth more than €16.67m were made with Revenue in the last three months of 2015.

A list of more than 100 defaulters is published today – two of the cases resulted in payments of more than €1m being made to the tax man.

Four settlements exceeded €500,000 and 46 of them were for amounts of more than 100,000.

The figures released today includes tax, interest and penalties.

In the 3-month period to December 31, 2015, some 107 cases were published – 46 were for amounts exceeding €100,000; four exceeded €500,000; and two exceeded €1m.

Three of the 107 settlements published, yielding €0.54m, relate to Revenue’s investigation into Offshore Assets/Funds.
