Over €23m is to be spent on sustainable transport projects in the greater Dublin area.
The schemes include improvements to bus, cycle and pedestrian routes – including an expansion of the Dublin Bikes.
They are aimed at encouraging more use of sustainable and public transport, reduce congestion and facilitate economic activity.
The 121 projects include allocations to Kildare, Meath and Wicklow County Councils.
And provision is being made at a number of third level campuses for students to take the bus or cycle to college.
