AA Ireland are warning that a recent increase in oil prices is likely to be felt at the pumps.

While the average price of petrol fell by almost one cent a litre last month, it's far short of the decreases in recent months.

The price of diesel rose by almost 1c in February, according to the AA's national survey.

Decreasing oil prices internationally have been largely good for consumers, with motorists paying on average €48 a month less for petrol than they did this time two years ago.
