Police in the North have seized almost €515,000 worth of suspected herbal cannabis.

A 33-year-old male and a female believed to be in her 30's have been arrested on drug offences and money laundering.

In the first seizure, over €250,000 worth of the drug was captured after a car was stopped on the M2 this afternoon.

A further €256,000 worth of the drug was seized separately in County Antrim.
