As the Europa League draw began this morning, there was almost a feeling of inevitability about one of the quarter-final ties.
Jurgen Klopp has established himself as an Anfield favourite since taking over as Liverpool manager in October.
He was upgraded to hero last night when he masterminded Liverpool’s two-leg Europa League victory over old foes Manchester United.
With former club Borussia Dortmund also in the draw this morning, no-one was surprised when this happened.

Liverpool fans are thrilled and terrified in equal measure - knowing that Dortmund, favourites to win the tournament outright, will be incredibly tough opponents.

That’s not say Liverpool couldn’t do it, just that they face an uphill battle.

Some football fans are less enamoured with the game and the media frenzy that will doubtless surround it.
