Kieren Fallon is looking forward to "starting all over again" following his surprise return to racing.

Trainer Michael O'Callaghan announced on Friday that 51-year-old Fallon would be joining his yard and hailed the six-times British champion as "one of the most accomplished riders in the world."

The jockey's brilliant riding career has not been without controversy, but he is excited to be starting afresh and had three rides for his new boss on the first day of the new turf Flat season at the Curragh.

"It's nice to be back. I'm starting all over again," said Fallon.

"I've always loved riding in this country. I'm just going to tip away and hopefully get a few winners.

"Michael's horses are going well and he seems to be one of the most professional young trainers around that I've seen. His horses know their job."
