The overturned truck is on the the slip road from Naas Road outbound onto the M50 northbound.
Gardaí are advising drivers intending to get on the M50 northbound coming from the city to get on the M50 southbound to the Ballymount exit and then back onto the M50 northbound.
It is expected to take a number of hours before the road can reopen as a crane is needed to removed the truck.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
