The 32nd Dáil will meet for the second time today, but there is no prospect of a Government being formed.
Negotiations to form a new Government have been continuing since the House met for the first time less than two weeks ago – which saw no Taoiseach elected.
As the stalemate continues, it is expected the caretaker Taoiseach Enda Kenny will provide an update on any progress made.
There is increased confidence within Fine Gael that the party can form a minority government but there is growing speculation over who will support a minority-led government.
Both Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are continuing talks with independents.
A variety of other issues will be discussed, including recent European Council meetings, agriculture, homelessness and health.
The Dáil will meet again on April 6.
