
Two women have been arrested by gardai following searches targeting a crime gang in the south east.
Officers say they recovered stolen property to the value of €75,000 following the searches in counties Waterford and Wexford.
Members of the Criminal Assets Bureau, Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Garda air support were involved in this morning's searches as part of investigations into a criminal gang operating nationally and in the south eastern region.
The two women in Garda custody are both aged 44 and 46, and are being held at Enniscorthy Garda Station where they can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
