The acting Heritage Minister has refused to rule out an appeal against the High Court's Moore Street judgement.
Heather Humphries has said she is carefully studying the findings which ordered a halt to restoration and building work, pending a review of buildings there as a national monument.
Numbers 14 to 17 Moore Street have already been protected, however relatives of those who fought in the 1916 Rising want additional buildings along a row of houses to be preserved.
Acting Minister Humphries has said she is still “considering the judgement”.
“I’m still considering the judgement - it runs to almost 400 pages - and it’s implications,” said Humphries.
“I have to give it due consideration and the case is expected back in court on April 5th.”
