Ryanair says repeated strike action by Air Traffic Controllers in France is causing huge disruption for air travel cross Europe.

The airline has condemned the union, which has held three work stoppages in the past two weeks.

Ryanair has created a petition, which it hopes will lead to changes around the rules for Air Traffic Controller strikes - across the continent.

Ryanair's Chief Marketing Officer Kenny Jacobs, is calling on the EU to take action: “Once we get a million people to sign up to our petition, we will go to Europe and demand that they look at changing the legislation so Europe can’t be blackmailed by a tiny French ATC union.

“So we would ask all customers to keepeuropesskiesopen.com and sign the petition.
