For the second weekend in succession, Bree Hunt will stage point-to-point races over the picturesque Monksgrange track, at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountain, near Rathnure tomorrow (Saturday).

They raced there very successfully last Sunday for the annual fixture, but tomorrow’s races are an added meeting to compensate the industry for the high loss of fixtures due to the wet weather conditions over the winter.

Tomorrow’s six-race card starts at 2 pm and 97 entries have been received – 15 short of last weeks entry – however, a competitive day’s racing is anticipated.
