A 16-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the death of Lorcan O'Reilly in Dublin last November.

Gardaí arrested the teenager yesterday morning.

He was questioned at Kevin Street and Kilmainham garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The boy, who remains in Garda custody, is due before Dublin District Court this morning..

Twenty-one-year-old Lorcan O'Reilly (pictured) died after he was stabbed when he intervened in a fight at the Oliver Bond Flats complex in Dublin's inner-city.
