An investigation has found that children were left in a foster home for years after allegations of sexual abuse against one foster family.
The report by RTÉ's Investigations Unit centres on a foster home in the west of Ireland.
It found that a girl in foster care made a credible abuse allegation against a teenage family member in 2007.
In spite of this two other children - a boy and a girl - were left in the care of the family.
Four years later, the second girl also made abuse allegations.
She was removed from the home, however the boy remained with the family for another year.
