Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil’s negotiating teams will resume talks on the creation of a minority Government today.

It will be the fourth time in three days the teams meet – however it is unclear if they will reach a deal before the Dáil sits tomorrow – when a vote for Taoiseach is due to take place.

Both parties issued identical statements last night to say they have agreed to meet again later.

It is understood they are working through how a minority Government would work if it were to be established.
