An arrest has been made by gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Quinn at Tullycorra, Castleblayney on October 20, 2007.

A man, aged in his early 50s, was arrested in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan this morning.

His currently detained at Carrickmacross Garda Station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.

“A search operation on lands near Castleblaney has also commenced as part of this phase of the investigation,” a Garda statement read.
