WEXFORD COUNTY Council is investing €250,000 in upgrading the Waste Water Treatment Plant facilities in Clonroche.

The work began in February and will include upgrading the inlet works, additional clarification and stormwater storage.

Commenting on the work recently senior officials in the local authority said: “It is envisaged that work will be completed in early May.”

The officials also revealed that the estimated cost will be in the region of €250,000.
