Workers were evacuated from a factory in Co Clare this afternoon after a fire broke out on the roof.
The blaze, at the Thermo King facility in the Shannon Industrial Estate, was reported around 2.15pm.
Factory staff were quickly evacuated from the building while contract staff scrambled down a scaffold to safety.
It is understood the fire erupted on the roof where workers have been carrying felting works in recent weeks.
Three units of the fire brigade from nearby Shannon Town responded to the incident.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and have been clearing charred debris from the roof top.
No one was injured in the incident.
