The love affair between Liverpool FC and Borussia Dortmund has been sweet to watch – really it has.

United by their love of one man – the inimitable Jurgen Klopp – the two clubs have become footballing BFFs. A knock-out Europa League tie between the pair didn’t even put a dent in their friendship.

Dortmund welcomed Liverpool fans to Germany with open arms last week for the first leg.

We get it, it’s charming – footballing respect, two great clubs, etc.

But come on folks.

Half-and-half scarves are bad enough – this is frankly an abomination.

We hope your love lasts a lifetime, honestly we do.

But half-and-half jerseys CANNOT be permitted to catch on.
