There will now be two Daily Million draws every day instead of one, the National Lottery has announced.
Daily Million draws now take place at both 2pm and 9pm, seven days a week, for €1 per play.
The number draw game, launched in September 2012, awards a top jackpot prize of €1m where six numbers are matched.
Players can win an instant €500,000 with Daily Million Plus if they are lucky enough to mark off six numbers. Prizes can also to be won for matching 3 numbers or more.
Statistics released by the National Lottery today reveal that there have been 28 Daily Million jackpot and Daily Million Plus winners to date, with over €35m paid out in prizes since the inception of the game.
Dublin, Kerry and Mayo ranked as Ireland’s luckiest Daily Million counties last year.
Approximately 30% of Lottery sales revenue that goes to communities, projects and individuals in areas such as youth, sports, recreation, amenities, health, welfare, arts, culture, national heritage and the Irish language.
